Precast Detailing Case Study – Factory & Warehouse Building, Australia

This project had a Factory & warehouse building with steel structure having façade covered with Precast wall panels 200 mm thick. Advenser’s scope was to model & detail 267 wall panels in TEKLA. The input details provided included steel model for coordination. Advenser developed the model in Tekla, imported the steel model and added necessary connections to the steel in the panels according to structural details and standards. The building had a number of penetrations in the panel and cast-in plate connections between each panel, clip connection to steel column & grout tubes to the footing.
